This is Miss Pia, whose regal heritage would be all the more apparent should she consent to a brush job. The staff told me only one person had accomplished that feat so far. Her highness wasn't falling for my clever ignore-her-and-play-with-the-others ploy. She'd get close enough to stick her nose in, then zoom.

Picked on another ragamuffin who glued herself to me instead, all the while being nudged - hard - by the infamous Cujo.

Familiarized myself with computer to work on PetFinder listings later. Helped move a load of donated auction goodies, speaking of which is something to consider for good stuff you're not using. Save aluminum cans too, just learned this shelter takes them. Check around about which organizations take what.

I know, too cute. Ordinarily, everything I publish is up for grabs, welcome to it. This however might be of interest to the Garfield people or others for cards, whatever. Wouldn't it be cool to make a few bucks on it for the shelter? So please, leave this one alone until I have a chance to look into possibilities. Any marketing tips/ideas would be most appreciated.

While still on the floor, after baggin' the Garfield shot, this plopped in my lap.

Cosmo, was most aptly named, truly a space cadet. The goofball nonpareil was in the office being babied for a boo-boo, doing his best to get another one by annoying the cats. Guess I looked like a good place to take a load off (or a sucker for those innocent eyes).

This is a good shot of one of the large group yards. These guys have it better than the boarders at a pet resort where I worked a good while back - their people had to pay for extra play time. Becky and I were in there "working" taking pix for PetFinders listings. Got a good start on transferring bio info too.

That's Scooby at attention, Biscuit is the yellow shepherd and Lucy in back. Note toys all around, and the one in Duke's mouth, "C'mon, it's my turn."

Added a few new pix and and spruced up the previous pages - you might want to check back: http://www.therealmartha.com/adopt/index.htm and http://www.therealmartha.com/pix1/index.htm

Here's an oldie, http://therealmartha.com/maggie/index.htm. Not too long after losing Libby to liver failure, a poem about Maggie arrived, you'll see why it had to be a special page. Sam, Maggie's mom has a new site: http://www.myfurrytales.com/ - Memory journals for critters, very cool.

Just in time for the Fourth, cheers for the Red, White and Blue!
