If you do not agree with supporting our President in whatever action is necessary at home or away, I will say that I am happy you at least have an opinion. Hopefully it is your own, based on your own conclusions. I support your right to do whatever you feel is best with your thoughts.
That is your freedom.

Bush, or any of our leaders, military or civilian, will not be welcome here. Many more
will suffer and die protecting all our freedoms before this is over.
Our official mourning period is
over. Mindful of the future, I am leaving this flag at half-mast.

Anyone is welcome to help themselves to whatever you find, no matter where your support goes. There are plenty of things we can all do to ease our own pain and stress, and help others in the process.
*Like that word? I made it up. That's one way to exercise freedom of speech. Whispering and pacific can both have negative connotations such as gossiping or inactivity. Here, whispering means no screaming, no whining. Crybabies accomplish exactly nothing. Those who feel the need to raise their voices to agitate usually manage to do so - to no worthwhile end. Commotions can be caused for good and evil. Here you will find ideas that everyone can use to get involved in a positive effort, no matter how large or small. This is war, this is my reaction.

Those two lines pop up on notepad every time I turn on the computer - a little reminder of how much I appreciate the power of free expression. I open a can of whoop ass nearly every day, offer available 24/7. Straighten-up/fly-right slap/study and reality checks ... common sense, what a concept ... come on down. I break whichever rules to suit my purpose. I can be nice, I can be rude, makes no difference, whatever it takes to get a point across. If you do not appreciate hearing it like it is, by way of opinions and suggestions, mine and from enlightened others, go away. Don't let the door hit ya.

the Nostradamus hoax - understandable, we all would like to believe somebody has the

Nostradamus ... The Man Who Saw Tomorrow
Michel de Nostradame, more commonly known as Nostradamus, was born on December 14, 1503 in
St. Remy de Provence. His writing was like poetry, writing in four-line verses (quatrains)
in groups of 100 (centuries).
His modern followers see him as a prophet and believe his prophecies have a magical
quality for those who study them. His detractors suggest they are muddled and obscure
before the predicted event, and only become crystal clear after the event has occurred. In
short, skeptics consider the "prophecies" of Nostradamus to be mainly gibberish.
"In the year of the new century and nine months, from the sky will come a great king
of terror. The sky will burn at 45 degrees ... fire approaches the great new city ...
there will be thunder. Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures. The
great leader will succumb. The third big war will begin when the city is burning."
NY is on the 45th parallel. Two brothers - Twin towers? The Fortress - The Pentagon?
By 1555, Nostradamus had completed the first part of his book of prophecies that were to
contain predictions from his time to the end of the world. The word century has nothing to
do with one hundred years; it was so called because there were a hundred verses or
quatrains in each book. The verses are written in a crabbed, obscure style, with a
polyglot of vocabulary of French, Provencal, Italian, Greek and Latin.
In order to avoid being prosecuted as a magician, Nostradamus wrote that he deliberately confused the time sequence of the prophecies so that their secrets would not be revealed to the non-initiate.

YaHoo doogies, I'm plumb pooped after that dissersection. BTW, CRASH (covering revered self's ass here): that was a joke - on myself, CRASH not intended as grim or disrespectful in any way. Had it written another way, the words rearranged themselves. It's memorable, I like it, sue me.
More arrangements: the "coincidental numbers" - c'mon ... numbers are at least as easy to manipulate as letters. No doubt anyone will ever forget 9-11/911. The date may well have been planned. Certainly the timing was. Mike had just called me in to watch the news when the second plane hit. As for the rest of the numbers, at best a stretch in certain examples. Who knows about the ones at center stage? The enemy is not stupid, great plan (if so) to add in the "hoo-doos" - don't let speculation shake you. There are far more important things for concentration.

I'll add more debunks and rebuttals as I find them. Please check any hoax site before you add to the problem by forwarding potentially dangerous "information." Specifically, do not send anything that starts with "I think" or "My friend told me" or the like, without at least adding your own disclaimer. "This is something I think you might like to see," should be enough to make it clear it's not your idea or from a friend you trust. Think about your responsibility as a friend, to your friends before automatically hitting the forward button. Above all, please do not send anything to me until you see how many other people send exactly the same thing, particularly any without a disclaimer.
Anything I choose to publish will have been checked to the best of my ability, however that doesn't mean you can trust me without question. Most material will be from people I trust when they tell me it was their idea, or they really do know and trust the source - that's still no 100 percent guarantee of legitimacy. It is up to you to question everything. What I will not run is any plea or "case" for passive solutions. Our President has made it extremely clear what must and will be done. There is no room or reason for argument.
Do whatever you can to pacify anyone's ignorant rantings. This is the best tool I've seen so far. Save it, print it, make copies, post them and/or otherwise shove in the face of any idiot who needs the education.
I will be running links with comments that accompany them where I find them or as submitted. More often than not, I will not have the time to check each one. Click at your own risk. You may also find legitimate media links that don't work. Every site has its own archive policy. Please report any links you find that are not working. Make sure to check a few times if a page doesn't open right away. The problem may be due to overload at the time.
Anyone who is publishing right now will appreciate a clearly defined subject line on all submissions to avoid opening duplications. Already I have received the same stories and/and or graphics as many as 10 times, most identified differently.
When you read anything that doesn't ring true, question the source. Know your source, and tell the source you intend to notify a security agency if you have the knowledge to back up your suspicion. The Internet is prime for propaganda. I'm 100 percent in favor of e-mail monitoring and any other other loss of privacy deemed necessary. If you hear someone bitching about their precious time spent held up in a security check line, ask them what it is they're worried about? What makes them so special? Who the hell do they think are? The only people worried about losing their liberties are those who don't deserve them. I truly hope the new restrictions will help root out our home grown vermin. Say thank you after you get through the line. Address the proper authority if you see a problem with security. Get to know your neighbors. We may need to depend on one another some day. Make awareness your business, know what's happening around you and your family.
I received the following from a friend. He does not know the source or if the story is true. In this case, if it isn't, it should be. It very well could be only a hopeful suggestion, however, why not ask if the usual pilot speech now includes a similar word track when you make reservations. If it doesn't, ask the agent to recommend another airline - that'll get attention. I will be interested to hear all reports of your experiences. I present it exactly as received, except for correcting punctuation and spacing for easier readability. In the second paragraph, the bomb reference doesn't make any particular sense, that could just be bad recall/writing. The only thing I really question is no mention of air marshals. I know Mr. Bush did say that was now policy - I don't remember if he said every flight. Mike told me air marshals are the elite marksmen, as in they have to know how to hit a target without blowing a hole in the plane. He also said they ordinarily wear plain clothes. Remember, I believe Mike knows what he's talking about, that still doesn't make it a fact.
I'm not exactly sure where this originated, but as soon as I read it I just KNEW that I had to send it along to you. The spirit shown by the aircrew and passengers aptly demonstrates precisely why the bastards behind last week's atrocity will NEVER WIN! If you're anything like me, Martha, there will be tears of joy streaming down your face by the time you finish reading this, and you too will know that we SHALL triumph in the coming war against evil! confirmed as a true story, albeit numerous versions, as of 9-23.
I just wanted to drop you all a note and let you know that I arrived safe and sound into
Dulles Airport tonight at about 6. It was an interesting flight. The airport in
Denver was almost spooky, it was so empty and quiet. No one was in line for the
security check point when I got there so that went fairly quickly, just x-ray of my
bags and then a chemical test to be sure nothing explosive was on them. Then I waited 2
1/2 hours to board the plane. What happened after we boarded was interesting and
thought I would share it with you.
The pilot/captain came on the loudspeaker after the doors were closed. His speech
went like this: First I want to thank you for being brave enough to fly today. The
doors are now closed and we have no help from the outside for any problems
that might occur inside this plane. As you could tell when you checked in, the
government has made some changes to increase security in the airports. They have not,
however, made any rules about what happens after those doors close. Until they do
that, we have made our own rules and I want to share them with you. Once those doors
close, we only have each other. Security has taken care of a threat like guns with all of
the increased scanning, etc. Then we have the supposed bomb. If you have a bomb,
there is no need to tell me about it, or anyone else on this plane; you are already
in control. So, for this flight, there are no bombs that exist on this plane. Now,
the threats that are left are things like plastics, wood, knives, and
other weapons that can be made or things like that which can be used as weapons.
Here is our plan and our rules. If someone or several people stand up and say they are hijacking this plane, I want you all to stand up together. Then take whatever you have available to you and throw it at them. Throw it at their faces and heads so they will have to raise their hands to protect themselves. The very best protection you have against knives are the pillows and blankets. Whoever is close to these people should then try to get a blanket over their head - then they won't be able to see. Once that is done, get them down and keep them there. Do not let them up. I will then land the plane at the closest place and we WILL take care of them. After all, there are usually only a few of them and we are 200 plus strong! We will not allow them to take over this plane. I find it interesting that the US Constitution begins with the words, "We, the people" - that's who we are, THE people and we will not be defeated.
With that, the passengers on the plane all began to applaud, people had tears in their eyes, and we began the trip toward the runway. The flight attendant then began the safety speech. One of the things she said is that we are all so busy and live our lives at such a fast pace. She asked that everyone turn to their neighbors on either side and introduce themselves, tell each other something about your families and children, show pictures, whatever. She said, "For today, we consider you family. We will treat you as such and ask that you do the same with us."
Throughout the flight we learned that for the crew, this was their first flight since Tuesday's tragedies. It was a day that everyone leaned on each other and together everyone was stronger than any one person alone. It was quite an experience.

I would appreciate the download for American Typewriter fonts to offer here. I don't have in aol to use in e-mail so it must have come with Front Page publisher. I hope it shows up, although I know it's highly unlikely for most viewing. For me, there could not possibly be a more apropos choice. As soon as I get home I'll at least be able to print and scan to create a masthead.
I am looking for a distinct logo. Obviously, the red, white and blue is most appropriate. Specifically religious is not. I am certainly not against prayer, but it would be prejudicial to focus on only one belief.
