Side note to go with above, I wasn't sure what a reader meant when he wrote, "Long live the USA "Where are the carriers?" Is there one anywhere near London?!!!" ... so I asked ... Ive seen several programmes on Cable TV on

carriers to project its influence worldwide. The commentary usually goes, Whenever
theres trouble somewhere in the world, the Presidents first question to his
advisors is always
where are the carriers?
Back to me: OK, that I understand. Can't say I know all that much our air power, except that it is a force to be reckoned with. Good to know the "Best not mess with us" message is getting out there. As roomie - who was Air Force - said when I asked him for confirmation, "Yep, that covers it." Reply: Sure is a force to be reckoned with he says enviously!
