Meet the Raggedy family

Yes, the men in the little white coats are coming to take me away ...

Each one cracks me up.

Gee Ma, I gave you the idea. When's it gonna be my turn to play?

Mr. Shugee (Sugar Baby) is still teething ~ holes chewed in a bed throw were the latest evidence. So, I hauled out the rag bag.

itty bittys.JPG (18909 bytes)

Itty bittys were the first attempt, based on the braid used for the rubber tubing toy (link above). The one in the middle kinda looked like a dog.

Then Mr. Stripes was born.

Next, a real wild child ~ sitting, about 8 inches tall.

red and pastel.JPG (17856 bytes)

Red is a skinny 18 inches ~ pastel is fat, about 9 inches

velvet.JPG (15894 bytes)

Deep blue velvet, almost a foot tall

tallest.JPG (58805 bytes)

Mr. Tall, close to 22 inches

plaid.JPG (25977 bytes)

Whatever this is ... almost 9 inches, and has a few extra fingers, toes and tug loops

That's it for now, stay tuned!

I'm still using quilting scraps, old jeans and work shirts and new yardage with lots left to play with. They're a little heavier than the same sizes in rubber tubing. Haven't mailed any yet, guessing about $2.50 postage. Most will end up mid-size (8 - 10 inches). Figuring in about a buck per inch would make a foot-long $12 plus postage. Order by description for the existing, ask about special order sizes or fabric (more denim and stripes, calico, checks and various prints coming soon).

As with all toys, never leave animals or children unattended.

No guarantee how long any will last, shredders will shred at about the same pace they go through any rope toy.
