Girl Scouts visit SCHS Interest Project Workshop: "... a collaboration to increase not only the Girl Scouts' awareness and utilization of our companionship with pets, but also to understand the responsibilities assumed when having a pet." Little Mr. Phoenix thoroughly enjoyed his hands-on part of the deal. Information stations offered topics on everything from heartworm treatment to bereavement, obedience, grooming, volunteer and career opportunities. Katie Wohldmann, junior volunteer regular, acted as guide for the groups moving between buildings and kept Scoopy entertained while I was taking pics.
Scoopy had a few words for Miss Office Top Cat Ember, who had a few swats for Mr. Too Nosy - quite possibly she did not appreciate his wet tracks on her floor. My apologies for neglecting to collect all names, will add as received: MarthaJones1@aol.com More community outreach events: http://www.therealmartha.com/CritterIndex/index.htm Phoenix as Superman (and lots more Halloween cuties): http://www.therealmartha.com/HalloCritters/index.htm |
