Bostons Only

Machito, as his name suggests, is always ready to take on anything.

Truly a killer effort

Victory is mine!

Now for the rest of the story from Mom: Machito loves both the red and the blue Chewapaloozas. They have been destroyed and remade several times. He finds it very satisfying when I tie the shreds of other toys into the Chewpalooza. He had a great time with the calico UKO part and he likes denim too.

Machito's reorder ~ a potpourri of this, that and the other

Martha, you have outdone yourself! It is a Chewpalooza Extravaganza!

Machito smelled the package when it arrived. He was so excited he had to open it himself -- at least he made a good start and got Styrofoam peanuts all over the floor. Then he had to have some help extricating the Monster. He loved it! He seized it and shook it to death and then went tearing away to his crate to chew on it. Then he brought it back and played with each of us in turn, taunting all of the 'big dogs' in his pack so that we could all see how wonderful it was, and that it was his. Every so often he had to take it back to his crate or my bed so he could chew on it in privacy.

It may not look quite the way it did when you sent it by the time I take pictures -- but that's part of the joy.

Great toy. Thanks,

Josephine and Machito

Bentley's favorite game is to untie the knots and handles. I have retied them many times already. ~ Candace

The white is a display stand, not part of the toy.

Bentley got one knot out of the rubber within five minutes. My sister said he carried it around for most of the night. When I got home from work, he brought it to show off.

Sirrus, a pug, (featured on http://www.therealmartha.com/Chewapalooza2/), much prefers hers to Bentley's toy. She did get a bit of playtime, though Bentley tried to steal it.

I haven't tried the ferret one yet. I wanted to make sure I had my camera ready as they will hide it within two minutes and I will likely not see it again for three months. ~ Candace

Bentley, and "The Bentley"

I just decided to start naming custom order versions. Still, no two will ever be exactly the same. Even if you choose a pawsonalized reproduction (close as possible), your sweetie(s) can be famous on a page too!

Daisy Mae, a.k.a. Daisy Doodlebug, with her original that survived teething. The red one belongs to brother Pugsley, a Staffordshire bull terrier.

Didn't take long for Miss Biscuit to get down to serious biz with "The Biscuit."

"The Biscuit" is all one toy. Does kinda look like the two sides are dancing before setting off to their new home ... as I may have mentioned before, each toy really does take on a life of its own.

You go Gabby!

"We got Gabby's chew toy on Thursday. She's been at it ever since. So far, it is still in one piece and I cannot see any evidence of impending destruction. The attached pictures are the best we could do with all the bouncing and tugging going on. Will keep trying!"

The "Gabby" is a 4-ply braided combo of the lightest strength tubing and the green is next step up.

A typical first inquiry: My Boston loves to chew and fetch and weighs about 18 pounds. He can destroy and maim pretty quickly.

After asking for details: Buddy is two and a half. He loves to tug. He also loves to chew and undo knots. I've given him cloth and rope toys and the minute he gets them he proceeds to undo them. He's amazing. He pulls until the material is undone and then he gnashes at the strands until he has them in pieces. Although he doesn't usually swallow the pieces, I do grab them as quick as I can. At that point, he wants to play fetch and tug with what's left.

After suggestions: The red sounds good. I don't think I want to add fabric. If something is cloth, especially fleece, he chews it up. He's merciless no matter how cute it is. In his short life, he's destroyed a quilt, a bedspread, three dog beds, and assorted towels, stuffed toys, and socks. And even though he's two, he is still a chewing machine. I used to think it was a puppy thing, but now I'm pretty sure it is a lifetime Boston thing.

The report: He's having a good time. Right now he's swinging it around in a circle. We're trying to stay out of his way. Butch said that he hasn't made a dent in it yet even though he has been chewing on it for a while.

Thank you so much for all your help.* Buddy is enjoying his toy and Butch and I are enjoying watching him.

Those eyes are too much, "Locked on, don't even think about buggin' me about anything else."

*We went through several back and forths determining custom options.
